Why Should you Invest in a One-Day Workshop?
Local Tutor
I live in the Cairngorms and know all the best places to learn.

Advantage to private photography lessons is we go where you want.
Learn your way
It's just you, so your tuition plan will be tailored to your learning needs.
Personalised 1-2-1 tuition
Everyone is at different levels and like different genres of photography, so there is no set itinerary and all levels are welcome.
Your personalised photo training will go at the right pace for you and concentrate only on what you need to grow your skills and self-confidence.
If you’re a complete beginner you won’t feel left behind (or that you might be holding others back). If you’re more experienced, you won’t be held back.
You’ll gain new skills, expand existing skills, improve your understanding and evolve new ways of thinking about and using photographic techniques.
If you’re not local but would still like a workshop with me I can travel within a reasonable distance, normally no more than 100 miles from Aberlour. Please note expenses for fuel will be required.
Develop your own skills
I believe that investing in experiences is a much better investment than investing in stuff (like camera gear, equipment, etc).
There’s nothing quite like being outdoors with your camera, taking photos of beautiful scenery.
A problem in modern photography – as I see it, anyway – is that too many of us are wrapped up in trying to replicate what others do.
By that, I mean that instead of seeing gorgeous photos of this location or that location on Instagram and trying to redo what’s already been done, we should focus more on developing our own voice and photographic style.
Private Photography Lessons
A photography workshop is the ideal situation to do just that…
In the supportive environment of one day photography workshops, you you get lessons tailored to your needs, feel free to experiment with your approach and learn new ways of seeing the world through your camera.
What’s more, you can find new ways to challenge yourself to learn technical or artistic skills that will improve the quality of your photos.
The great thing about education and experiences is that they will stay with you forever, and continue to pay dividends over time.
