Fairy Pools, a breathtaking natural wonder nestled in the Isle of Skye, is undoubtedly one of the most enchanting places on earth and no trip to the Misty Isle is complete without a visit to this ethereal location. As you meander up the hills, you will be treated to an array of cascades and small waterfalls that are a sight to behold. However, my eyes were fixated on one particular waterfall which was simply mesmerising on a cold and dark November morning.

The fresh snowmelt from the peaks had swelled the flow of this beautiful waterfall, forming an incredible symmetry with the peaks looming majestically in the background. The wet flora in the backdrop further added interest and depth to the image, creating a delightfully balanced composition that remains one of my all-time favourites from this iconic location.
