What Did You Enjoy About Your Workshop?: We enjoyed Dean’s commitment to learning and education. He tailored his approach to our skill levels, and allowed us to learn and adjust along the way. For example, he talked us through a scene, watched us set up and create a few images, and then tactfully asked questions about our choices, and suggested alternative ways to address the scene. Many of Dean’s lessons and observations have been applied during the remainder of our trip and will continue to help shape our approaches as photographers. He is also incredibly generous with his time, knowledge and insights, tailoring his approach to our specific needs.

What, If Anything, Would You suggest I Do To Improve the Workshop?: We really enjoyed our time with Dean and I find it hard to suggest areas of improvement. Sometimes I find it helpful to have a map with possible locations marked so I have an understanding of the area and how to place what I am seeing in context. I also understand with nature photography, flexibility is key and locations cannot be predefined and must adapt according to weather.

What Further Comments Would You Like To Make About Your Workshop?: We loved everything about our time with Dean, and would love to spend more time with him.
