On a day that I was taking pictures of the magnificent West Beach on Berneray, I stumbled upon a fantastic sight that was only made possible by the receding tide. The golden triangular rock pool was simply perfect and couldn’t have been more ideally placed. The backdrop was also perfect, with the Harris Hills adding an extra level of natural beauty to an already perfect day.

The conditions were ideal, with the sun shining down and providing the ideal amount of heat and lighting, making for a faultless atmosphere to capture the breathtaking moment. An empty beach allowed me to drink in the tranquillity and fully appreciate the majesty of it all. It was truly a magnificent experience, one that I can never forget.
