Driving along the Harris coastline with my workshop group, I made a decision to stop for lunch at a small viewpoint I was familiar with, just 5 minutes up the road.

Upon our arrival, this amazing scene greeted us – an uncommon display of wave patterns in the sand. It was so beautiful that we chose to leave our ham and tomato sandwiches and instead dedicated an hour or more to capturing the beauty of this gorgeous beach.

We might have stayed longer if the tide hadn’t eventually rolled in and washed the patterns away. So it was back to the car for a late lunch.
